When it comes to shopping it is true to say that there is nowhere quite like Singapore.

Probably the best known area for shopping in Singapore is Orchard Road, which is also, having recognised the demand, well populated with hotels. The area is full of fantastic shopping centres, malls and specialist shops where pretty much anything can be bought. Centrepoint is one of the largest shopping centres in Singapore, and is located in the Orchard Road area. This huge retail area is an attraction in its own right, where people can spend all day if they wish checking out the many shops as well as restaurants and bars that pepper the way.

There are many many more malls to go at though, all of which have their own specialities. The Shopping Gallery at the Hilton Hotel on Orchard Road for example is where the designer brands are to be found: Armani, Gucci, Boss and many more are all here in exquisite surroundings.
